ABOUT ME

A Product Designer with over 4 years in SaaS and 10+ years in visual design working across Europe and Singapore. I have developed a comprehensive skill set in designing SaaS platforms, enterprise web applications and entertainment systems. I enjoy team collaboration, open communication and continuously learning from industry advancements and team insights.It has been my aspiration to create design solutions that is simple and make life easier.

MY UX JOURNEY

My previous experience in visual communication design and front end web development for website, client portal, brand and corporate identity encompassed many aspects of the end-user’s interaction with the company, its services and its products.With an abiding interest in psychology, design and technology, I furthered my studies in Master of Digital Management with HyperIsland in the UK while working in Germany as a Digital Designer. Equipped with a new digital mindset and intrigued by the user centred approach, I started applying it to numerous projects.Practising user centred design has since led me to a fulfilling journey of discovery, contributing to digital innovation, new product development as well as improving user's interaction with the products and services.With the new found experience, I immersed deeper into UX and took a UX immersion course with CareerFoundry.I have worked in Deutsche Telekom and Thales for both web and mobile design. In Telekom, I was involved in optimising the existing MagentaTV web and mobile user flow such as the landing page, first time usage page as well as voice remote design. In Thales, the design process involved gathering user's requirement to design a dashboard, a web-based C2 system, integrated with mobile and videowall .I have been working with a team of designers, PMs and engineers to improve the user experience within the Execution Management System (EMS). The last project that was launched was Celonis integrated Marketplace and Partners page.

HOBBIES

When I am not designing, I will be painting, doing craft work, reading or planning for the next road trip with my family. I love to explore new places and get inspired by the new environments, people and culture as they spark my creativity.
